Tragedy struck the Baste household in Karachi as 25-year-old Osama lost his life after sustaining injuries from a robbery-related shooting. Osama, the sole brother among four sisters and a diligent student pursuing a BBA degree, battled for his life in the hospital for six agonizing days before succumbing to his injuries.

The incident unfolded on February 11 when Osama, accompanied by his 10-year-old cousin Aman, was riding a motorcycle after withdrawing money from an ATM near the DC office. In a harrowing turn of events, the perpetrators, intent on robbery, opened fire in an attempt to halt them. The indiscriminate firing not only claimed Osama's life but also left his young cousin injured.

Osama, known for his dedication to his studies and his employment at a private company to support his family, had dreams and aspirations that were abruptly cut short by the callous act of violence.

Expressing their grief and outrage, family members lamented the lack of concrete action from law enforcement authorities in apprehending the culprits. They called for higher authorities to intervene, urging for swift justice to be served for the untimely loss of their beloved Osama.

As the family mourns the devastating loss of a promising young life, the community echoes their plea for justice and a safer environment where such senseless acts of violence are swiftly addressed and prevented.
